Azelaic acid found naturally in grains such as wheat, rye and barley has powerful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce the skin's sebum production and slow down the overproduction of melanin. Unlike BHA and AHA, azelaic acid does not exfoliate the skin, making it gentler and less likely to cause irritation. It also does not cause photosensitivity, making it safer for daily use without increased risk of sun damage.
The high concentration of active ingredients effectively counteracts the overproduction of sebum and reduces the risk of clogged pores.
The concentrate contains 10% Azelaic acid which contributes to increased cell turnover for smoother skin texture and reduces uneven pigmentation.
The postbiotics ectoin, panthenol and acetylglucosamine provide intensive hydration, have a soothing effect on the skin.
