PROBIOTICS IN SKINCARE

Dry, sensitive, or acne-prone skin? The microbiome might play a bigger role than you think

The skin's bacteria are an important part of the skin barrier. Our probiotic concentrates help balance the skin's microbiome with live lactic acid bacteria.

Calming skincare that strengthens the skin barrier

Billions of bacteria and other microorganisms live on the skin, forming the skin's microbiome - an important part of the skin's natural defense. When the microbiome is in balance, the skin has a better chance of staying strong, hydrated, and resilient.

Why probiotics for the skin?

Just like the gut, the skin has its own ecosystem of bacteria and other microorganisms. Together, they form the skin's microbiome, which plays an important role in the skin barrier and overall skin health. When the microbiome becomes imbalanced, the skin can become drier, more sensitive, and more reactive.

By applying live lactic acid bacteria directly to the skin, we can help support the microbiome and create better conditions for strong and healthy skin.

Probiotic skincare can help to:

  • balance the skin's microbiome
  • strengthen the skin barrier
  • reduce dryness and sensitivity
  • soothe reactive skin
  • contribute to smoother and more resilient skin
