Materials & packaging

Choosing sustainable packaging solutions and materials is crucial to reducing our environmental impact and conserving the planet's resources. We therefore always try to find and work with materials that are recyclable, biodegradable or recycled to reduce waste and preserve nature for future generations.

Materials & packaging

Product packaging

Our packaging requirements meet the highest standards for cosmetic products and pass all necessary tests. The plastic in our bottles consists of 30% recycled plastic, which means that it is a mixture of new and recycled plastic. We have chosen a light polypropylene (PP) bottle that can be easily recycled. The bottle is light as we want to minimize the amount of material used and for it to be more environmentally friendly to transport as it weighs less.

Product card

In order to reduce material consumption, we have made an active decision not to have a cardboard box that our products are in, but instead chose to make a product information card. There we have the information that is important to you as a customer and that the regulations for cosmetic products require.

Our cards are printed on FSC-marked paper. FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council and is an independent, international membership organization. Certified companies follow FSC's rules, so-called standards for forestry and traceability. Those who comply with the rules may label their products with the FSC trademark. The FSC mark allows consumers and companies to choose wood products that come from responsible forestry that takes people and the environment into account.

Shipping box

We have chosen a shipping box which, like our product information card, is FSC-labelled. In order to reduce material consumption, we have chosen to have as small a shipping box as possible. It just fits our products and product information cards. More is not needed and thanks to this, we do not need to transport air, a small shipping box takes up less space during transport, which allows the transport company to ship more at a time, which leads to less emissions.

We have decided not to develop and sell products for which we do not see a real need. What we ourselves like to use when we wash our face in the evening is a hair band to be able to wash and lubricate the face and neck more easily, a cloth bag to shop for food in and a fridge rack so you can easily store our products in your fridge.

Hair band

Our climate-smart headband consists of 100 percent recycled terry cloth from hotel towels. We have designed and developed the headband together with the Swedish company Reused Remade. Thanks to the fact that we reuse an already manufactured material, we can reduce our environmental impact as emissions and energy use are significantly reduced.

ReusedRemade does a fantastic job of reusing textiles that would otherwise have been thrown away, read more on their website.

Cloth bag

Our fine fabric bags consist of 100 percent recycled hotel sheets. We have also designed and developed these with innovative Reused Remade. The fabric bags have a cotton/polyester mix and water-based printing, which means they can be machine washed at 40° and hung dry or tumble dried. Small variations in the fabric may occur between the fabric bags as we use a recycled material.

Refrigerator rack

Our refrigerator rack is made of biodegradable plastic and developed in collaboration with the Swedish innovative 3D company Lostboyslab whose goal is to combat the global crisis in terms of plastic litter by using only recycled material. The material in the refrigerator shelves is 100% recycled PLA plastic from disposable items made from corn starch.
