Skinome was founded by skin researcher Johanna Gillbro, who identified two problems with conventional skincare:
1. Preservatives
Preservatives provide long shelf life but disrupt the skin's microbiome, which is crucial for healthy skin.
2. Room temperature
Active ingredients lose their effectiveness when stored at room temperature.
Johanna's solution was freshly made skincare – skincare strengthening the microbiome, without preservatives and kept refridgerated to deliver maximum results.

HERO PROBIOTIC CONCENTRATE
Our signature product Probiotic Concentrate encapsulates the Skinome philosophy. It contains freeze-dried live bacteria ( Lactobacillus Reuteri ) that activate when mixed with your water-based face cream and help restore balance to your skin’s microbiome. The result is calmer, more resilient skin with improved hydration, smoothness and a natural glow – especially if your skin is dry, sensitive or easily irritated.
