At Skinome we are driven by the desire for new knowledge and with our research we build increased understanding and knowledge about the skin and the interaction with our microorganisms. The products we develop are always based on the latest research where we put your skin in focus and first place.
Much of our research is conducted in our laboratory, located in Hornstull in Stockholm, but also together with universities and other partners. We are open with our research and publish the results in scientific journals, present at conferences or make them available to you as a customer.
Behind every product innovation is our dedicated research team led by Johanna Gillbro, founder and skin scientist , and Ulf Åkerström, head of research. With over 20 years of experience, they drive Skinome's research and development work forward with a focus on science, innovation and passion for skin health.
